How to Whitelist Backroads

Staying in touch with you is important to us!

To ensure delivery of our e-mails to your Inbox (not Bulk or Junk folders), please add backtalk@backroads.com and travelupdate@backroads.com to your address book. Choose your e-mail provider and follow the steps below to make sure our e-mails will reach you.

AOL, Earthlink, G-mail, Hotmail, MSN, Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2000, Yahoo, All other providers


If your email provider is Versions 6,7,8, 9 or AOL ANYWHERE:

Step 1. Open your email
Step 2: With the email open, click "Add Address"
Step 3: Click "Save"


 

If you're using Outlook 2007 :

Step 1: Highlight your email
Step 2: Navigate to "Actions" in your tool bar
Step 3: Select "Junk Email" and click on "Add Sender to Safe Senders List"


 

If you're using Outlook 2003 logo :

Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: Navigate to "Actions" in your tool bar
Step 3: Select "Junk Email" and click on "Add Sender to Safe Senders List"


 

If you're using Outlook 2000 Logo :

Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: In the "From" field, right-click on the address
Step 3: Click the "Add to Contacts" on the shortcut menu
Step 4: Click the "OK" button

If your email provider is Earthlink logo Webmail:
Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: Click "Add to Address book" link
Step 3: Click the "Save" button in the popup


 

If your email provider is Yahoo Logo & YAHOO PLUS!:
Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: With the email open, click "Add to Address Book"
Step 3: Click "Add to Address Book" once again

If your email provider isHotmail Logo:
Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: Click on "Save Address" in the top navigation bar.
Step 3: Click "OK"

If your email provider is MSN Logo:
Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: With the email open, click "Save Address"
Step 3: Click "Save"


 

If your email provider is Google's Google Logo:

Step 1: Open your email
Step 2: Click the "More Options or Reply" link. It's on the title line of the e-mail, over on the right, next to the date. (If you see "Hide Options" instead, then you already have the extra options visible and can continue from here)
Step 3: When the extra options are visible (just below the subject line), click Add sender to contacts list link.

If you use an e-mail provider not listed above:

Try adding travelupdate@backroads.com to your Address Book or Contact list. If this option is not available, try moving the message to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself.

Or you can try sending an e-mail to travelupdate@backroads and that may add the address to your Contacts automatically. Even if the e-mail doesn't get through, the address will still be added to your Contacts list.
