Turkey Biking
Pedaling, Yachting & Kayaking Along the Mediterranean
Winding your way through the timeless Turkish countryside and along the dazzling Mediterranean Coast, you're more likely to encounter herds of goats than cars. Savor the intoxicating scent of tangerine, orange and lemon blossoms from orchards along the way. Where culture and tradition endure, you'll find skillful weavers creating such richly colored textiles as kilims and sumacs. Meander through ruins dating to the 7th century B.C. and feast on grilled fresh fish, sun-ripened tomatoes, eggplant, feta cheese and olives. On this Backroads cultural odyssey, pedal, swim, hike and stargaze from the deck of our traditional Turkish gulet. And let the heart, soul and natural beauty of Turkey captivate you.
