Joey Coe

Joey Coe was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, the birthplace of Muhammad Ali and Joey Coe. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from Western Kentucky University in 2011, where he was a Udall Scholar. Prior to joining Backroads, Joey worked for the world-navigating, ship-based study abroad program, Semester at Sea. Since joining Backroads in 2012, he's lead over 15 different trip itineraries in places such as Alaska, Argentina, Yosemite and Panama. When not leading trips, Joey can be found in Oakland, California, reading, writing or playing music with his band, Mount Saint Elias.
