Backroads Flexible Cancellation Plan: Even the best traditional travel insurance plans may not cover all of life’s circumstances. Can’t find pet care? Want to attend your nephew’s wedding? Arch RoamRight Travel Protection Plan
This comprehensive plan provides coverage for trips booked directly with Backroads and does not include airfare or any other excursions or pre- and post-trip travel arrangements not organized by Backroads.

The Arch RoamRight Travel Protection Plan cost is based on your age at the time of purchase:

A few key details:
- Add the Arch RoamRight Travel Protection Plan anytime up to 10 days before your trip departure date. To be eligible for some benefits, including pre-existing medical conditions, you must purchase the plan within 21 days of your first trip payment.
- Plan premiums must be purchased in full upon selection.
- You’ll still have 14 days to change your mind and get a refund for the plan’s cost.
- Backroads is not permitted to offer the Arch RoamRight Travel Protection Plan to residents of New York, Hawaii and Quebec. New York and Hawaii Residents only, click here for the Travel Protection Plan information and purchase link.
