Lara is Backroads' modern day Renaissance woman. A multilingual architect from Spain who specializes in restoration and Gaudi structures, Lara has also been a theater produce, technology teacher, event planner, classical animation producer, and rock music journalist and photographer. One year she decided to take a break from it all with a summer with Backroads—and never left! For a decade she has been leading Backroads trips worldwide and in two destinations that hold a special place in her heart: Cuba and the Dolomites of Italy.
