Raised in the coastal mountains of Vancouver’s North Shore, Marcus has a deep passion for outdoor activities, including endurance sports, camping and nature photography. Marcus’ favorite aspect of working for Backroads is the opportunity to use the joys of active travel to inspire others to incorporate more exercise into their daily lives. Though he often finds it tough to leave home, Marcus has a knack for travel and particularly loves discovering the culinary traditions of different cultures. He balances leading Backroads trips in the summer with working in real estate development and exploring the restaurant industry in the winter.
