Michael Heslop

Michael Heslop

A relative of Frank Wild, an Antarctic pioneer and second-in-command to Sir Ernest Shackleton, Michael has travel in his blood. The desire to experience new places, cultures and ways of life has led him to live in places as far-flung as Hong Kong, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. A native of Northumberland in the United Kingdom, Michael joined Backroads in 2015 and spends his time working in France and Iceland. You can follow his adventures here.
