Tracy had two of her passions collide when she began leading bike trips for Backroads in California wine country in 2014. Her love of wine and bicycles grew and she expanded her role as Trip Leader to the Chianti and Piedmont regions of Italy, fulfilling a dream that began half a decade earlier on her own Italian cycling adventure. Tracy has been studying wine personally and professionally for 4 years and has attained her Level 1 Sommelier Certification. When she isn’t leading guests on gastronomic journeys through the Italian countryside, she lives in Durango, Colorado on the border of the San Juan Mountains and the desert canyon country. Tracy and her husband own a café in Durango and can either be found serving up local creations or enjoying the great outdoors.
