Days 1-2
E-bike through the lovely outskirts of Berlin, past the famous Grunewald forest and the 1936 Olympic Stadium • Cycle along shimmering waterways through the peaceful forest of Spreewald—a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and origin of the famous Spreewald pickles, which are a German culinary obsession • Sample from a spread of fiery local schnapps • Embark on an enchanting float by punt boat along one of Spreewald's typical canals • Savor an elevated yet casual gastronomic experience at our stunning hotel and make time to visit the spa—one of Germany's most extensive.
Nights 1-2
Disconnect in the serene surroundings of this retreat established in 1750 by King Frederick the Great, which offers a world-class spa and renowned fine dining. (pool, spa)
Days 3-4
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the German countryside before continuing to Dresden, often referred to as the Florence of the north • Admire Germany's impressive green technology as we cruise past windmills, sunflower fields and organic farms • Marvel at 18th-century water-castle Schloss Moritzburg, a baroque structure set on a manicured artificial island • Spin downhill into Radebeul and relish a private wine tasting with a breathtaking view of the Elbe River Valley • Relax in luxury in our baroque palace hotel.

E-bike along the Elbe and take in the unique sandstone formations of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland national parks • After lunch, continue to the Czech Republic by e-bike–or hop in the shuttle if you prefer • Our castle-retreat hotel offers plenty of opportunity for relaxation–opt for a swim or head to the spa and dine on the terrace • Take another spin through the Czech countryside or keep on relaxing! • You might just want to stay in Prague for some urban exploration to cap off your adventure.

Germans are not only known for their passion for beer, but also for bikes. And that love of bikes has created an amazing labyrinth of bike paths and routes that extend throughout the country. Many of the paths we utilize on this trip are the equivalent of scenic byways, linking quaint villages and big cities alike. While we are on bike paths in larger cities, be prepared for the occasional rush of local riders as they commute and run errands. These wonderful bike paths are refreshingly car-free, which means that there are stretches of limited van support, although you'll still be supported by leaders on bikes. Although most of the paths are smooth and paved, there are some sections of interlocking bricks, gravel, cobblestone and hard-packed dirt that can be muddy during downpours.
Hotel Zur Bleiche Resort & Spa is a Premiere Hotel housed in a beautiful historic building. While it offers outstanding service and amenities including a fabulous spa, libraries and restaurants, please note that it is not equipped with wi-fi or air-conditioning.
