Days 1-3
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a traditional farmstead • Hike in the lush Bavarian Forest, the largest protected woodland area in central Europe • Climb to Brotjacklriegel for stunning views of the countryside • Dive into the spirit of the region with a festive welcome celebration complete with music and dancing • Pedal to Passau, a city of splendid baroque architecture • Kids set off on an urban scavenger hunt while adults marvel at the ornate buildings on a walking tour of romantic Passau • Welcome to Austria! Hop a gondola up into the nearby Alps for rugged trails, vast views and sweet Tyrolean desserts at a cozy mountain hut • Explore the bustling city of Linz.

Most port conditions require that ships tie up alongside each other, in which case you may need to walk through another ship to access our ship. This is a part of river cruising due to its popularity. You may experience obstructed views from your stateroom when the ship is double-docked, but as soon as we set sail again your beautiful views will be restored.
