Itinerary
Day 1
Begin your adventure in Big Sky Country and dive into your trip by cycling a famed route to the Continental Divide • Look out for mountain goats, bighorn sheep and pikas atop Logan Pass • Whirl downhill with sweeping views of Saint Mary Lake and Wild Goose Island • At our welcome reception, we look forward to an adventurous week ahead!
Night 1
Set near the east entrance of Glacier National Park, the lodge boasts a dramatic mountain backdrop and views of the Great Plains of Montana and Divide Creek.
Day 2
Cross the border into Canada and hit the trail for a scenic hike • Lush forests and alpine lakes make for a stunning backdrop for today’s route • Unwind at our historic hotel perched on a bluff offering sweeping views of Upper Waterton Lake.
Night 2
This historic green-gabled hotel offers vistas of the mountains reflected in glacier-fed lakes.
Day 3
Visit Bar U Ranch, a National Historic Site commemorating Canada's ranching history • Hike to Troll Falls, flanked by dense forests • Relax at our mountain retreat and perhaps visit our hotel’s impressive Nordic spa.
Night 3
Set in the heart of Kananaskis Country, this luxurious mountain lodge nestled in the Rockies was originally built in 1986 for the Winter Olympics and at the end of 2017 completed a full renovation including the addition of a 50,000-square-foot Nordic spa. (pool, spa)
Days 4-6
Enjoy the refreshing splashes of chilly alpine water as you raft down the Kananaskis River • Cycle from one mountain town to the next along the Banff Legacy trail • Pedal along the Bow Valley Parkway, tracing the path of the Bow River • Embrace the jaw-dropping beauty of the Canadian Rockies • Nestled below glaciated peaks is the turquoise-colored Lake Louise, a World Heritage site popularly known as "the gem of the Canadian Rockies" • Toast to our journey through these wild landscapes at our farewell reception • Take one final spin around the famed Banff Springs Golf Course.
