A Boston native, Sydney's passion for travel stems from a gap year she embarked on before college in 2003. She studied Spanish in Guatemala, built houses with Habitat for Humanity in Fiji, volunteered at a daycare in Central Mexico, and constructed bridges and recreational pathways in Australia and New Zealand. When Sydney isn't globetrotting, she spends her time practicing and teaching yoga, studying Ayurveda and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. While traveling is a passion, her heart lies in the snow-blanketed mountains that she now calls home.
