Thibault grew up in France and his travel bug began when he was a 17-year-old exchange student in South Africa. After that experience, he took off with his backpack and traveled all around South America, then throughout Europe and finally off to the beautiful sights of North America. Looking for a way to combine his passion for travel with a job that would challenge him and keep him interested, he discovered Backroads and became a Trip Leader. So, was it everything he dreamed it to be? Yes! Was he also surprised by the responsibilities and the expectations of a Trip Leader? Yes! But he's up for the challenge and finds joy in every day.
