Is alcohol included?

We celebrate the start and end of your trip with a Backroads-hosted toast, typically offering beer and wine. In keeping with our commitment to provide individual choice and good value, alcoholic beverages at meals are generally not included unless otherwise noted. On select Active Cruises (particularly on AmaWaterways and Ponant ships) and Active Safaris (at select game lodges), a selection of wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are often complimentary at lunch and dinner.
